Comments on CHRONO example bow_IK.r3d
Perform interactive inverse kinematics on an excavator bow
What to do: load the example file, select a part of the bow (for example, the spoon), and use the IK tool on the Chrono toolbar to move the bow on the screen.
Note that the mechanism will wollow the motion of your mouse more or less smoothly, depending on the speed of your computer.
Warning: this example is not prepared for animation: in fact if you press the play button on the animation timeline, the bow will simply fall down (no motor is applied).

This example is a bow from a motorscraper, which you can use to test the interactive inverse kinematic feature of Realsoft. In fact you can move parts of the mechanism on the screen as if you handle it in a virtual reality environment (all the parts will remain assembled and constrained while you move it with the IK tool).
