New 'splash screen' showing each time r3d starts (it can be deactivated with a
checkmark).

Completely new collision engine, for faster performance in collision detection.

Completely rewritten LCP dynamics solver, based on the HyperOCTANT technology,
which uses an iterative numerical method, for realtime simulation even with 
complex mechanisms.

Files for examples have been modified and updated.

Some property windows have been simplified or modified.

Lot of bug fixes and performance improvements.

 
The new 'hoovering' highlighting selector has also an useful feature
which can be found in some 3d cad systems: if you remain for one/two
seconds over a spot where there are more than one possible selection (as
happens for crowded scenes), if you click the mouse then a small window
opens aside, with <> buttons that you can use to cycle between possible 
selectable objects (or edges, or surfaces, etc.). 

 
All Chrono 'bar pictures' have been redesigned with a more
modern colour scheme. See property windows of Chrono objects.
